WELCOME TO OUR NEW SENIOR LIVING BLOG!

Monday, August 24, 2015 — According to the American Association of Retired Persons, over the next two decades more than 10,000 baby boomers will turn 65 each day in the United States.  As this growing population ages, more resources are becoming available to seniors for making this a healthy and fulfilling chapter of their lives.

In our new blog, titled “Live Well. Age Well,” we will hear from Capital Region experts on an array of senior-oriented topics such as how to downsize and prepare your home for sale. There will also be articles on senior wellness, healthy living, how to avoid security scams, local volunteer opportunities, as well as cooking tips for all seasons. From time to time we will also incorporate submissions from our residents and dedicated staff.

At The Meadows at Glenwyck, we recognize that the key to aging well is living well, and our residents improve their quality of life by remaining active in mind, body and spirit. Through this informative blog, we invite you to join us on a journey to explore exactly what that means!

If you have any questions or are interested in submitting a senior-oriented piece for the blog, please contact Edward Parham (ed at rueckertadvertising.com) or call (518) 446-1091.
